The Membership Committee is responsible for the overall recruiting of new members and the administrative support to maintain the current membership. The Committee responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the update and revision of the annual club handbook; update and supply current membership literature and applications; process new membership applications, in coordination with the Treasurer, for approval by the Board; notification of new memberships to the various committees; provide club information and guidance to new members; and plan a new member welcoming party or function each year. The Membership Committee needs the support of all current members to encourage and recruit new members to the sailing community. Recruiting activities should be coordinated with the Public Relations Committee.
