Racing Committee
 

The Racing Activities Committee is responsible for the annual racing program for the club. The committee is composed of at least five club members who are knowledgeable in club racing. One-design fleets may be represented on the committee. Overall responsibilities include, but not limited to, the scheduling of races, regattas, race committees, and protest committees per the US Sailing Association guidelines for each season; schedule a meeting of the racing community to present the proposed racing program for the year prior to February 15th; notify all members of the program and schedule as approved by the Board; provide and maintain all racing marks and equipment as needed for the program; and other such racing activities as recommended by the committee and approved by the Board. The Committee is expected to enforce all racing rules and safety regulations appropriate for a club racing program and encourage all members to experience the excitement of sailboat racing.
