USED SNIPE It is my intention to provide this boat to help WVSC members get started in a competitive Snipe boat at a very reasonable expense. The sailboat is a 1982 Phoenix Snipe that has been completely renovated. It has the three requisites of a competitive Snipe – minimum weight of close to 381 pounds, a flexible mast with spreaders, adjustments & controls, and sail-away-ability - the capability of capsizing, re-righting, expelling what little water is in the cockpit, & continue sailing.
