Sales tax is added to initiation fees and dues.
Spaces designated as available by the Board of Governors at the ends of the docks (“half slips”) can be rented for $250 per year.
Excess winter electric charges will be divided and charges to those slip lessees utilizing water circulating devices. * WORK CREDITS * The Walnut Valley Sailing Club is run totally by volunteers for the benefit of all its member. To encourage involvement of the general membership and hold operating costs to a minimum, the club has implemented a work credit program. The program allows regular members with memberships of at least one year to be credited up to $100.00 per year. A credit of $10.00 per service hour may be earned for a maximum of 10 hours, which will be credited the following year. Services to the club which are eligible for credit will include: 1. Serving as Committee Chair. 2. Helping on organized work parties. 3. Serving as Board Officer. 4. Service on most committees.
