Sales tax is added to initiation fees and dues.

Spaces designated as available by the Board of Governors at the ends of the docks (“half slips”) can be rented for $250 per year.

The Walnut Valley Sailing Club is run totally by volunteers for the benefit of all its member. To encourage involvement of the general membership and hold operating costs to a minimum, the club has implemented a work credit program.

The program allows regular members with memberships of at least one year to be credited up to $100.00 per year. A credit of $10.00 per service hour may be earned for a maximum of 10 hours, which will be credited the following year.

Services to the club which are eligible for credit will include:

1.        Serving as Committee Chair.

2.        Helping on organized work parties.

3.        Serving as Board Officer.

4.        Service on most committees.
